While there are conspiracy theories claiming that Armstrong saw aliens on the far side of the moon, he was frozen silent on the matter. His expedition to the Cave of the Andes with other high officials is the only information that suggests that Armstong was interested in the extraterrestrial subject. On the other hand, Mitchell has always expressed his views on alien life and delved into extraterrestrial theories.
“Looking at Earth from space you ask yourself: who are we, how did we get here and where is all this going? And this is a very, very old question that humans have been asking for a long time… My experience has been realizing that maybe our science is wrong in answering these questions and maybe our religious cosmologies are archaic and flawed. Why is Edgar Mitchell so interested in extraterrestrials? Probably the answer lies in the most famous Roswell UFO crash. In 1947, 16-year-old Mitchell was living on a farm near the crash site. It was the moment that fueled all UFO theories around the world. According to Blake Stilwell, a former Air Force combat photographer, Mitchell believed that aliens had prevented the nuclear conflict between the Soviets and the Americans, and this is on record.
Stilwell wrote: “He [Mitchell] also claimed that senior military officials hid evidence of UFOs, potentially alien spacecraft, and that they particularly enjoyed pairing over the White Sands field of testicles in New Mexico. I have been wondering if we are prepared for our own survival. The only way humans could gain some control over the trajectory of the crazy species he believed in was “by questioning many of the fundamental assumptions underlying civilization,” Mitchell said.
Mitchell told the Mirror in 2015 “White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons – and that’s what the extraterrestrials were interested in… They wanted to know about our military capabilities. My own experience talking to people made it clear that the ETs were trying to stop us from going to war and help create peace on Earth. nuclear bombs over the Pacific Ocean and destroying them.
“I spoke to many Air Force officers who worked in these silos during the Cold War,” Mitchell continued. “They told me that UFOs were often seen overhead and often disabled their missiles. “Other officers at bases on the Pacific coast informed me that their [test] missiles were often protected by alien spacecraft. “There was a lot of activity back then.”
Nick Pope, a former UFO researcher for the Ministry of Defense, believed that Mitchell was an honorable and truthful man. He said: “Clearly, because of who he is he has had access to government, military and intelligence community personnel at the highest level, but because – understandably – he does not name his sources, we cannot be certain that these people were being candid with him, or even that they were privy to any classified information about UFOs.”
In 2016, Wikileaks revealed thousands of emails allegedly linked to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta. The emails revealed secret information shared with Podesta about UFOs and ETs. In 2015, Podesta received emails from Mitchell that expressed his concern about space weaponry and its impact on ETI (extraterrestrial intelligence). In January 2015, he sent an email to Podesta, asking him for an urgent meeting to discuss Disclosure and Zero Point Energy (ZPE). He was concerned about peace in space. Mitchell wrote: “My Catholic colleague Terri Mansfield will be there too, to catch up on the Vatican’s awareness of ETI. Another colleague is working on a new Space Treaty, citing engagement with Russia and China. However with the extreme interference of Russia in Ukraine I believe we must take another path towards peace in space and SPA on Earth.”
Carol Rosin, one of Mitchell’s longtime collaborators, and Terri Mansfield confirmed to Geekwire that Mitchell was indeed the author of two emails. Rosin noted that Mitchell and Podesta would share an interest in extraterrestrial knowledge. “As you know, Dr. of energy, that there are no weapons safe in space, and that this is the only time in history that our leaders can sign and ratify the ‘Treaty on the Prevention of the Placement of Weapons in Outer Space’ that was introduced by the leaders of Russia and China ”, said Rosin.

According to terrimansfield.com, “Terri (Terese) Mansfield is Executive Vice President of Public Interest Fundraising (FPI), founded by President and CEO Suzanne Mendelssohn, Ph.D., the only healer to offer ETI as well as intuitive science for the zero-point energy of the tau neutrino (ZPE)”. Additionally, Terese is the Director of the ETI (Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Peace Task Force.
Terri witnessed the Phoenix Lights event on March 13, 1997. She described the event as a long-suffering ETI salute to humanity. “Little did I know at the time that what I witnessed was the Mother Craft, a three-mile wide craft that shared the night sky with several craft, seen by thousands of witnesses in Arizona as a peaceful ETI Hello to Earth,” she explained. Mitchell coveted an email to Podesta again on September 18, 2015. He wrote: “As the Space War race is heating up, here’s where you should be aware of several factors as we schedule our Skype conversation. Remember, our non-violent ETI from the contiguous universe is helping us bring zero point energy to Earth. They will not tolerate any form of military violence on Earth or in space.”
It was confirmed by one of Mitchell’s collaborators that the meeting between Podesta and him never took place. During the 2016 election campaign, Podesta declared that he would convince Clinton to declassify as many UFO files as possible. In 2014, he tweeted that his biggest failure during the Obama administration was not asking for the UFO files to be released.
